We’ll be at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025

We will be exhibiting at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025, Poznań, Poland (June 3-6, 2025). Qosium is part of the demonstrations from European projects CONVERGE and 6G-SANDBOX. Come meet us and see what unique aspects Qosium brings to research work.

May 30th, 2025

Qosium is integrated into two impressive demonstrations showcasing the results from two European research projects. The QoSQuality of Service
Indicates the overall performance of the connection/network and its ability to serve applications.
results measured by Qosium play an essential role in verifying and proving the benefits of new communications technologies. The demonstrations are based on cooperation between Finnish partners, the University of Oulu and Finwe, and partners from Portugal, Allbesmart and INESC TEC.

The CONVERGE demonstration is a mixture of augmented reality, robotics, communications, and dynamic utilization of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS). In the demonstration, you can jump into a remote communications laboratory over a digital twin. The VRVirtual Reality
Virtual reality is a simulated experience that typically employs displays in the form glasses in a headset, posing tracking to give the user an immersive feel of a virtual world.
glasses visualize the laboratory and the radio signal flow, accompanied by real-time visibility of the QoS being monitored by Qosium in the background. You can operate the robotized network equipment therein to experience in practice how RIS with a radio wave reflection helps overcome situations when the signal is blocked by an obstacle between a base station and user equipment. The demonstration combines similar environments from multiple locations across Europe.

Another demo relates to the 6G-SANDBOX project, being about configurable, manageable, and controlled trial networks for new communications technologies. The demo gives you a virtual journey with VR glasses across different communications laboratories, while Qosium measures the connection quality to the remote laboratories from the perspective of applications used between. Kaitotek was accepted for a 6G-SANDBOX Open Call project, called OVQOS (Orchestration of Virtualized Passive QoS Measurement). The project studies the integration of passive QoS measurement, a necessity in communications laboratories for comprehensive verification and analysis, into the modular experimentation ecosystem of 6G-SANDBOX.

We are happy to meet you at the EuCNC event. You can find us from booth numbers 4 and 47.
